Directions on how to get there

The Stanford Music Festival is proud to present this years line up for our 10th Anniversary celebrations, yes its 10 years!!!!

Were pulling out all the stops this year with 2 stages which will be showcasing 30 act’s, yes 30!!

The main stage this year will be the ex Radio One Road Show Stage with ten bands appearing most of them for the first time. But we can’t celebrate our tenth anniversary without The Heaters who have proved so popular over the year’s, you know the day will end with a great party atmosphere when Fat Boy Steve(not so fat these day’s) and the band mix it up. During the day you’ll be able to go back to the 50’s & 60’s with Brother’s Beyond, move into the 70’s and the Punk Rock & New Wave era with Protex Blue, 80’s Mod & Scar provided by Cover UP and Classic Rock and Indie Rock pumped out by Good Omen and the Earnshaws. For a full listing click here.

If that wasn’t enough to make it a great day ten acts from Stanford Forum’s Thurrock’s Got Talent competitions will be performing during the band change over’s. The new stage this year means these act’s will perform on the roof of the stage. For a line up click here.

Still not enough for you? We said we wanted to make this our best year yet, so there will be a second stage situated in the Crooked Billet beer garden. Gary from Clive’s Easylearn Pop Music Schools will be showcasing some of the acts that have benefited from the schools tuition, 11 bands will be appearing including Blind Vision and Lady Grey & The Earls, for a full listing click here.

This is a great family day out with a fairground (on site from Thursday 1st July) plenty of room for you to spread out and make a day of it, bring a picnic and your chairs and enjoy one of the best free music festivals in the south. There will be food stalls on site for those who need to top up their energy supplies after all the excitement; there will also be a few information stalls on local services.

We are still looking for someone to supply Indian Food from a mobile takeaway (must have food hygiene certificate) and one or two concession stalls with items suitable for a music festival, no other food stalls wanted. For information email info@stanfordcf.org.uk

The Stanford Forum look forward to seeing you on the day and hope you have a great time.

So put the 3rd July in your diary for a spectacular days family entertainment!!
