Hardie Park to have up to £48K spent on play equipment
Thurrock Council has secured funding via the governments Playbuilder Scheme to improve the play facilities for 8 to 13 year olds over Hardie Park . The schemes can be very imaginative, in some cases far removed from the usual run of the mill play equipment we see in our parks. The Stanford Forum along with Thurrock Council will be holding a consultation event over Hardie Park on November 22nd exact times to be announced. It is vital that as many people as possible of all ages turn up to express their views and help develop the scheme. The eventual style has not yet been decided and we want it to reflect the wishes of the parks users but just as important the views of those who do not use the park because they feel there are not enough to do over there. Please let as many people as possible know about this event and encourage them to turn up. If you can not attend on the day then please contact us with your ideas via our contacts page we will also forward any information regarding the scheme on to you.
